Halo2 Playable Demo
At e3 there going to be a playable demo of halo2, gamespot where atthe nightbefor and got a good look at it playing and they he wot they said.
As the demo opened, we saw Master Chief aboard a dropship as he descended into the East African Protectorate city of New Mombasa. Radio transmissions clued us in to the fact that the city was under heavy siege by Covenant forces. As the dropship landed and Master Chief hit the ground, the opening cinematic ended and the gameplay began. We saw an extraordinary level of scripted sequences and environmental effects as the player approached the battlefield. All around, there were limping soldiers helping others walk, medics tending to wounded troops, and dialogue occurring about the conflict at hand. Farther off, we could hear gunfire, explosions, and radio chatter--in short, the game was doing its best to give the impression that Master Chief was involved in a large-scale conflict.

GTA On XBox
Industry sources are suggesting that Grand Theft Auto is heading to Xbox and Gamecube next year.
Rockstar Games currently have a deal with Sony which means that the hugely successful series is currently a PlayStation-only affair. But when the deal expires next year, Rockstar will apparently release both GTA 3 and GTA: Vice City for Nintendo's and Microsoft's consoles.
In other Rockstar news, the uber-developers are reportedly working on a staggering 10 new games, although we only have scant details on a handful of those at present.
Manhunt is an action game similar to the TV series The Fugitive, in which you're on the run from the law, and is due to be released this October.
Meanwhile, The Warriors (which looks set to be a free-roaming beat-'em-up based on the 1979 gang movie of the same name) and Max Payne 2 are both pencilled in for the first half of 2005. So don't hold your breath for either of those two just yet.
Finally, the one we're all waiting for - the next Grand Theft Auto outing - is due to be released next year. At the moment, it's looking as if the game will be called GTA: San Andreas. We'll keep you posted as soon as we have new details on any of these games.
